DIGITAL ART IS WAY MUCH BETTER THAN TRADITIONAL ART

Digital art is a creative process of presentation of art and created with the help of digital tools. They consist of add on effects like animation, 3D effects, etc; Digital art is where both creativity and technology come together.

Traditional art is a part of our culture and skills of a group of people passed down through the generations. It represents reality in art. Few Traditional arts are like sculpture, architecture, painting, literature, music etc

Some will think that digital art is better than traditional art and some others will think traditional art is better than digital art. Both of them have their importance and working methods. Even a digital artist should have equal skills as a traditional artist and also should think creatively. But, digital art is way much better than traditional art. Here are a few important reasons for that.

Digital art is secured

Yes, digital art can secure its data(art). There are very few chances of losing data in digital art. Here, we can find the save option, where data can be saved/secured.

For example, in the case of digital art(drawing a sketch), we can save our art in a file or folder of the device that we use. Whereas, in traditional art, there are high chances of losing our data(artworks) so, we cannot secure it for a long period.

Time-saving

In digital art, there is no requirement of clearing the entire data and restart, which is a lengthy process. Here we have an option called UNDO, where we can just clear the unwanted things and continue the work. So that we can save our time too.

For suppose, what if we commit any mistake in the case of traditional art? We have to erase it and restart the art which is a problem and takes a huge time. There is no such problem in digital art. We can easily UNDO it and move on with the process.

Easy to carry

In the case of digital art, there is no need to carry all materials like pens, paper sketches, etc what is need to carry is just a device like a laptop or iPad.

So, it will be easy to carry when we move from one place to another.

Whereas, in the case of traditional art, it is required to carry huge material along with us which is a hard task. Lack of material cannot fulfill the art completely, so it is needed to carry the whole material to make traditional art.

Inexpensive!

If we are ready with a device with software that supports digital art, then all the tools and options required for digital art are already available in it.

So, there will be no extra cost for purchasing material and all. They are not recurring expenses. For example in traditional art, an artist needs to buy various materials like a variety of sketches, papers, colors, and all. Once those materials are used/finished, then the artist needs to buy new material again. Traditional art will have recurring expenses, which may cost a little high.

Digital art is present and future.

As technology is leading the present world, most of us prefer digital art rather than traditional art. The usage of technology has been increasing day by day. Digital art exists as long as technology exists. So, digital art has its importance in the present and future. People in the present day mostly prefer to use devices like laptop/iPad/computer rather than paper, sketches, colors, and other related material.

Space for extra effects

The effects like animation, graphics, and 3D effects can be easily performed in digital art which gives a special attraction to that specific art. An artist will always try to make his/her art more attractive and creative.

It is somehow difficult to add those effects in the case of traditional art. One will always like to perform work that gives good and maximum output with minimum effort.

Finally, extra effects and special attraction makes art more special comparatively.

Getting deep!

In the case of digital art, There are huge chances where minute details can be shown very clearly, and we can have a deep look at art and artworks.

Sometimes, minute details matter a lot because we can able to know our small mistakes with the help of these minute details. Sometimes lack of those minute details cannot give completeness to our artworks.

For example, through the zoom option, we can even find the minute things in digital art, whereas we cannot find those options in the case of traditional art.

Easy to modify

The modifications can be easily done in digital art as there are many tools and options available in digital art. So it is simple to make changes to it.

In digital art, there is no matter of erasing and remodifying the art which is a big task. The options redo and undo are available to make the changes. The changes can be made easily and make the art looks more attractive.

In traditional art, it is somewhat difficult to make changes. The artist needs to erase and modify the art to make any changes and sometimes it makes artworks look un-attractive.

Easily transferable

In present days Wi-fi or the internet is available everywhere. The Internet has become mandatory these days for everyone. So, it is easy to share digital art among people.

Digital art is easily shared with others and consumes less time to transfer when compared to traditional art.

In the case of traditional art mostly the transfer of art will be done by hand to hand, where we need to spend more time traveling to meet that person with whom you want to share our artworks. Thus, transferring digital art is possible through various internet sources

No extra material needed

Digital art can be performed in a single device, as no other resources are needed to carry out the work.

For example, in the case of digital art, devices like a laptop or iPad, or tablet are enough to perform the work whereas in traditional work extra resources are required to work.

We can finish the whole art with the given device(software/ tools/ options) and there is no use of other things like paper/ pencils/colors

No chance of wastage

There is no chance for the wastage of resources in digital art.

Suppose, in the case of traditional art(drawing a sketch), if we commit any mistake, there will be the wastage of resources like paper, sketches, etc; whereas there is no such problem in digital art. We can either UNDO or delete. So there is no matter of wastage in the case of digital art

No need for other resources!

A device with a single pen is enough to perform digital art. Only a single pen of multiple-use is used in digital art to work.

The pen consists of various options and features where the requirement of other resources and materials is not needed for digital art. If we consider traditional art, we need other resources too.

Limited space

In the case of digital art, we need not bother about how to store the art. We can save it in a file of devices and the device requires limited space.

The same cannot be done in the case of traditional art.  It requires more space to store the sketches/ art/ drawings and all the material required for the art.

Here are more reasons why digital art is better than traditional art:

  • Digital art is easy to perform when compared to traditional art.
  • Once we save the art(digital art), our data will be secured, and there will be no chance of damage to our data. There is no such assurance in traditional art. The art may get damaged as it is done on paper.
  • In the case of traditional art if we mix any colors then it will remain natural for a shorter period after that the paint may become dry. And we cannot see the dryness of paint in the case of digital art.

Conclusion

Finally, from the above reasons like time-saving, inexpensive, easy to modify, secured, strapless, easy to transfer, etc; it is concluded that digital art is way much better than traditional art.
